More About Hanny Anwar
Mr. Anwar Qualified from Barts and the Royal London Medical School, University of London after completing an intercalated BMedSci and MBBS in 2003. After completing his basic surgical training, he joined the Percivall Pott higher specialist orthopaedic training rotation in 2007.

His training encompassed all of adult and paediatric orthopaedics rotating through hospitals with renowned and prestigious orthopaedic departments including the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, Barts and the Royal London Hospitals, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore.

His Fellowship Training in Orthopaedic Spinal Surgery was undertaken at Guys Hospital, London (Adult) and the Evelina Childrens Hospital during which time he was awarded the British Association of Spinal Surgeons Travelling Fellowship.

His Fellowship Training in Neurosurgical Spinal Surgery was undertaken at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square.
​
Mr. Anwar was appointed as a Consultant Spinal Surgeon at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore in 2013 and commenced his position in 2014. He has developed a practice in Spinal Tumour Surgery (Primary and Metastatic), Scoliosis in Children and Adults, Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery and Revision Spinal Surgery.​
​
Mr. Anwar's private practice encompasses the full range of spinal surgery. He runs outpatients at the Waterfront, Elstree, for children and adults.
​
When Mr Anwar isn't operating he enjoys travelling, basketball and spending time with his four children.
